Mount Robson Provincial Park
Located just 35 kilometres (22 miles) from Valemount is the 217,000 hectare Mount Robson Provincial Park. At the park’s western entrance stands it’s namesake, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. With an elevation of 3,954 metres, Mount Robson provides what has widely been described as one of the most awe-inspiring views of the Canadian Rockies. Opportunities for viewing wildlife within Mount Robson Provincial Park are limitless. On a day hike, you may catch a glimpse of any of the park’s 182 documented species of birds, or its many indigenous animals.
